The Destined White Mage
Lifelink {W}, {T}: Another target creature you control gains lifelink until end of turn. Whenever you gain life, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control. If you have a full party, put three +1/+1 counters on that creature instead.
How The Destined White Mage decks play in EDH
The Destined White Mage is a mono-white commander costing 2W, and its legendary creature - human cleric line shapes the whole deck around it. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. Life gain is a resource here rather than a safety net, so cards that convert life totals into damage or draw belong in the list. The cards below are the ones The Destined White Mage decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
