Terms of Service

Grimoire is a tool for building Magic: The Gathering Commander decks. It uses automated systems, including AI, to suggest card lists and strategies. Suggestions are recommendations, not guarantees of performance or of tournament legality.

You must provide a valid email address and be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login details secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Paid plans include a set number of deck builds per billing period. Every plan uses the same AI model; plans differ only in build quantity. Unless stated otherwise, unused builds do not carry over to the next period. Current prices are shown on the pricing page.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We may change prices, but any change will apply from your next renewal, not the period you've already paid for, and we'll give notice by email.

You may cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. Refund terms are set out in our refunds and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or resell card data obtained through Grimoire
• Share account credentials or resell access to the service
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service
• Publish unlawful, abusive, or infringing content on a public deck page
• Use the service to create or promote a game other than Magic: The Gathering
• Use a deck built or optimized by Grimoire to enter a deck-building contest, in person or online, that is meant to test your own deck-building skill

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach isn't serious, we'll try to warn you first.

Your decks and collection remain yours. By making a deck public you grant us permission to display it on Grimoire and allow it to be indexed by search engines. You can make a deck private again at any time. We may remove public content that breaks these terms.

Grimoire is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not approved, endorsed, sponsored by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Scryfall, or EDHREC. Magic: The Gathering, card images, mana symbols, and Oracle text are copyright Wizards of the Coast, LLC. See our data sources page for full attribution.

Some links to card retailers are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on purchases made through them at no additional cost to you. We don't control those retailers' prices, stock, shipping, or policies, and purchases you make with them are between you and that retailer.

The service is provided "as is." Card prices, legality, and availability come from third-party sources and may be inaccurate or out of date. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grimoire is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email and the date above will change. You may close your account at any time. If we discontinue the service, we'll give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period not yet used.
