How Sauron decks play in EDH
Sauron, Dino Devotee is a mono-green commander costing 3GG, and its legendary creature - dinosaur vampire villain line shapes the whole deck around it. Life gain is a resource here rather than a safety net, so cards that convert life totals into damage or draw belong in the list. The card rewards attacking, so the deck is built to keep creatures pointed at opponents rather than sitting back. The cards below are the ones Sauron, Dino Devotee decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
