How Emil decks play in EDH
Emil, Vastlands Roamer is a mono-green commander costing 2G, and its legendary creature - elf druid line shapes the whole deck around it. It makes tokens, so the deck wants ways to pump a wide board and to turn spare bodies into cards or damage. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. The cards below are the ones Emil, Vastlands Roamer decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
