How Orthion decks play in EDH
Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink is a mono-red commander costing 3R, and its legendary creature - human soldier line shapes the whole deck around it. It makes tokens, so the deck wants ways to pump a wide board and to turn spare bodies into cards or damage. Sacrifice is built into the card, which pairs it with cheap recursive creatures and payoffs that trigger when something dies. The cards below are the ones Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
