Ob Nixilis, the Ascended
Flying When Ob Nixilis enters, destroy all tapped creatures your opponents control. You gain 1 life for each creature destroyed this way. At the beginning of each end step, if you gained life this turn, create a 4/4 white Angel creature token with flying.
How Ob Nixilis decks play in EDH
Ob Nixilis, the Ascended is a mono-white commander costing 5WW, and its legendary creature - angel line shapes the whole deck around it. It makes tokens, so the deck wants ways to pump a wide board and to turn spare bodies into cards or damage. Life gain is a resource here rather than a safety net, so cards that convert life totals into damage or draw belong in the list. The cards below are the ones Ob Nixilis, the Ascended decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
