How Vanille decks play in EDH
Vanille, Cheerful l'Cie is a Golgari commander in black and green costing 3G, and its legendary creature - human cleric line shapes the whole deck around it. It works out of the graveyard, so self-mill and cheap recursion effectively become extra card advantage. It fills graveyards, which can be a win condition on its own or fuel for recursion.
