How Valentin decks play in EDH
Valentin, Dean of the Vein // Lisette, Dean of the Root is a Golgari commander in black and green, and its legendary creature - vampire warlock // legendary creature - human druid line shapes the whole deck around it. It makes tokens, so the deck wants ways to pump a wide board and to turn spare bodies into cards or damage. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. The cards below are the ones Valentin, Dean of the Vein // Lisette, Dean of the Root decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
