Namor, Scourge of the Seas
Flying Each other Merfolk you control with a +1/+1 counter on it has flying. At the beginning of combat on your turn, target creature you control connives. (Draw a card, then discard a card. If you discarded a nonland card, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.)
How Namor decks play in EDH
Namor, Scourge of the Seas is a mono-blue commander costing 3UU, and its legendary creature - mutant merfolk villain line shapes the whole deck around it. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. It draws extra cards, so the deck can afford a lower curve and lean on volume. The cards below are the ones Namor, Scourge of the Seas decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
