How Mazirek decks play in EDH
Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest is a Golgari commander in black and green costing 3BG, and its legendary creature - insect shaman line shapes the whole deck around it. Sacrifice is built into the card, which pairs it with cheap recursive creatures and payoffs that trigger when something dies. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. The cards below are the ones Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
