Katara, Heroic Healer
Lifelink (Damage dealt by this creature also causes you to gain that much life.) When Katara enters, put a +1/+1 counter on each other creature you control.
How Katara decks play in EDH
Katara, Heroic Healer is a mono-white commander costing 4W, and its legendary creature - human warrior ally line shapes the whole deck around it. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. Life gain is a resource here rather than a safety net, so cards that convert life totals into damage or draw belong in the list. The cards below are the ones Katara, Heroic Healer decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
