Invasion of Ulgrotha // Grandmother Ravi Sengir is a mono-black commander, and its battle - siege // legendary creature - human wizard line shapes the whole deck around it. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. Life gain is a resource here rather than a safety net, so cards that convert life totals into damage or draw belong in the list.
