Hei Bai, Spirit of Balance
Whenever Hei Bai enters or attacks, you may sacrifice another creature or artifact. If you do, put two +1/+1 counters on Hei Bai. When Hei Bai leaves the battlefield, put its counters on target creature you control.
How Hei Bai decks play in EDH
Hei Bai, Spirit of Balance is a Orzhov commander in white and black costing 2W/BW/B, and its legendary creature - bear spirit line shapes the whole deck around it. Sacrifice is built into the card, which pairs it with cheap recursive creatures and payoffs that trigger when something dies. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. The cards below are the ones Hei Bai, Spirit of Balance decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
