Greven, Predator Captain
Menace Greven gets +X/+0, where X is the amount of life you've lost this turn. Whenever Greven attacks, you may sacrifice another creature. If you do, you draw cards equal to that creature's power and you lose life equal to that creature's toughness.
How Greven decks play in EDH
Greven, Predator Captain is a Rakdos commander in black and red costing 3BR, and its legendary creature - phyrexian human warrior line shapes the whole deck around it. Sacrifice is built into the card, which pairs it with cheap recursive creatures and payoffs that trigger when something dies. It draws extra cards, so the deck can afford a lower curve and lean on volume. The cards below are the ones Greven, Predator Captain decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
