How Carmen decks play in EDH
Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher is a Orzhov commander in white and black costing 3WB, and its legendary creature - vampire soldier line shapes the whole deck around it. Sacrifice is built into the card, which pairs it with cheap recursive creatures and payoffs that trigger when something dies. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. The cards below are the ones Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
