Bess, Soul Nourisher
Whenever one or more other creatures you control with base power and toughness 1/1 enter, put a +1/+1 counter on Bess. Whenever Bess attacks, each other creature you control with base power and toughness 1/1 gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on Bess.
How Bess decks play in EDH
Bess, Soul Nourisher is a Selesnya commander in white and green costing 1GW, and its legendary creature - human citizen line shapes the whole deck around it. It cares about +1/+1 counters, so counter-doubling effects and creatures that grow on their own carry the deck. The card rewards attacking, so the deck is built to keep creatures pointed at opponents rather than sitting back. The cards below are the ones Bess, Soul Nourisher decks actually play most often, grouped by the job they do.
